| Ramadan and the laws of the economy Dr. Zaid bin Muhammad Al-Rummani
Fasting is an education for the spirit and morals of the Muslim so that the rich feel the need of the poor and hungry, he will increase his faith in Allah and his certainty of the need to perform the right of the poor in his own money even more so when he feels the pain of hunger and thirst.
Unfortunately, some people have succumbed to some of the bad habits that are alien to Ramadan, namely the way consumer spending, when Ramadan comes, a majority of Muslim's are monitoring a much larger, if not twice the budget in the regular months, and begin to double their consumption. The day is fasting and laziness, and the night is unusual food and consumption.
Excessive food at night leads to the loss of many of these benefits but this may even have a negative impact on human health, so if he eats too much at night he becomes lazy because of the fermentation of food in his digestive system.
The advice that we can give to Muslim's is not to waste and not to overeat on the nights of Ramadan and to adhere to moderation and moderation, because one of the causes of the disaster that has befallen us today is the slowness, overconsumption, waste and distance from religion and values.
Ramadan is an attempt to formulate a rational consumption pattern and a one-month intensive training process that man understands that he can live by consuming some vocabulary in his daily life and for long hours every day. It is an educational attempt to break, the consumerism that contemporary psychologists have collected as a pathological condition, and that its treatment is in psychology and not economics, however, it affects the state of the economy and its conditions.
Excessive consumption and wasteful consumption is considered a misuse of economic resources and commodities Allah has blessed the servants to benefit from, it is an act that Islam condemns greatly the world.
Fasting has great economic dimensions, such as what the human mind realizes, such as its impact on human health on human health, for example, human wealth, some of which the human mind cannot grasp. He was blessed with those who followed his fast and his resurrection with Muhammad.
The human being is much more important than any model, theory or explanation. This is what economists have discovered recently. It is man who decides his level of well-being and degree of wealth, and it all depends on his decision and behavior. He can be rich, and if the hunger for consumption, as is the case for the individual in most Western society, he can eat his wealth.
Thus, the key to resolving crises lies in consumer education, so the vocabulary of management, savings and good governance of money is now making its way into modern economic studies.
We found economists saying: we have talked a lot about the laws of the economy, drew more curves and equations, but we forgot the larger variable that determines the validity or incompetence of everything we talked about and expected, which is the human.
