In the name of the month of Ramadan several sayings , most of the sayings are unanimous , because Ramadan came during the days of extreme heat and that wipes out sins , i.e., it burned them.

Ibn Droid said: When people passed on the names of the months, the month of fasting coincided with the days of flashing - and very warm, so it was called the month of Ramadan.

Abu Zakaria Yahya ibn Ziad al-mraa said in his book "Days, Nights and Months": It is called Ramadan.

Abdul Qaddous al-Ansari says (In his book (Fasting and Interpretations of Judgments): "The month of Ramadan is the only month that is explicitly mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an": "the month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the crescent (between right and wrong ). So whoever of you sights ( the crescent on the first night of) the month of (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home) he must observer sum (fast ) that the month" [Al-Baqrah: 185].

The Muslims used to say to the Ramadan to receive him: May God ( Allah) ) we have kept us for a month Ramadan and attended, so he gave him to us and handed him over to him, and we gave him his fast and his resurrection, blessed us with seriousness , diligence, strength and activity, and protected us from temptation.

Maala Al-Afdhal said, "They used to call Allah- Almighty – for six months to tell them Ramadan, and then they would call him six months to accept it from them,"

One of the blacksmiths was working on a hot day in the Ramadan, his brow was sweating, and he was asked: How can you fast, when it is very hot and work hard? He replied: Whoever realizes how much he asks him, he will be underestimated by what he is expending!

Al-Mahlab said in "Getting the Rains" (nail al- amtar) the wisdom is that the acceleration of the breaking increases in the day of the night, because it is easier to the fasting and stronger to worship.

The last ten of the holy month were devoted to the liberation from fire and the night of power (lailat al-qadr).

One of whom says:
Whatever fasting people, you have good tidings

Remembrance of Allah in your praise mentioned

You devoted a month in which there is freedom and mercy

Mercy gave the fasting person a reward

Allah in the last ten nights

You have great reward as well as good

On a hot day other than Ramadan, Al-hjaj came to some water, and lunch time came, so he said to his guard: See whoever eats with me, and strive not to be among the people of the world, and he saw the guard an Arab sleeping on him with a head of hair, he struck him with his leg, and said: Answer the prince, then he came The Bedouin called to Al-hjaj, so he invited him to eat with him, then the Bedouin said: Someone who is better than the Emir invited me and I answered him, so the pilgrims said: Who is he? He said: God – glory be to Him – called me to fast, so I fasted. He said: Is this hot day? He said: The fire of Hell is much hotter. He said: Break the fast and fast tomorrow. He said: If you guarantee me stay until tomorrow, he said: I do not have that. It is good food, he said: You did not please him nor the baker is good, but wellness is good.

A man came to scholar and said to him: I have broken my fast one day in Ramadan, so what should I do? The scholar said: spent one day in its place, so he said: I spent, and he said: I spent another day and came my famly they made sweet food, I ate it, The scholar said: spent another day, he said, spend and came to my famly made sweeter food, so I ate The scholar I see better not to fast unless your hand in your neck!
