26-Abu Nadrah reported: I heard the sermon of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, during the middle of the day. He said, “O people, indeed your Lord is one and your father Adam is one. There is no favoritism of an Arab over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab over an Arab, and neither red skin over black skin, nor black skin over red skin, except through righteous piety. Have I conveyed the message?” They said, “The Messenger of Allah has conveyed the message.” He said, “Which day is this?” They said, “A sacred day.” He said, “Which month is this?” They said, “A sacred month.” He said, “Which country is this?” They said, “A sacred country.” He said, “Indeed, Allah has made sacred your lives and wealth just as He has made sacred this day of yours, this month of yours, this country of yours. Have I not conveyed the message?” They said, “The Messenger of Allah has conveyed the message.” He said, “Let the witness inform one who is absent.” [Al- Bukhari].

27-Narrated Hakim bin Hizam:

That he said, "O Allah's Apostle! What do you think about my good deeds which I used to do during the period of ignorance (before embracing Islam) like keeping good relations with my Kith and kin, manumitting of slaves and giving alms etc; Shall I receive the reward for that?" Allah's Apostle said, "You have embraced Islam with all those good deeds which you did. [Al- Bukhari].

28-Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle kissed Al-Hasan bin `Ali while Al-Aqra' bin H`Abis at-Tamim was sitting beside him. Al-Aqra said, "I have ten children and I have never kissed anyone of them," Allah's Apostle cast a look at him and said, "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

29-Narrated Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah's Apostle saying, Allah divided Mercy into onehundred parts and He kept its ninety-nine parts with Him and sent down its one part on the earth, and because of that, its one single part, His creations are Merciful to each other, so that even the mare lifts up its hoofs away from its baby animal, lest it should trample on it." [Al- Bukhari].

30-Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:

The Prophet said, "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. [Al- Bukhari].
